Everybody on Earth is familiar with the hassles of using road transport. It is still the primary mode of transport worldwide and the reliance on road-travel is causing many problems. The current modes of travel are too slow and too congested to match the needs of the 21st century human.
Governments are forced to come up with new ways to ease the road congestion in their cities and the pollution that comes with it but there is only so much that they can do.
Here are few technologies that are promising to revolutionize how human’s travel in the coming years… made by two visionaries: Roberto Hroval and Elon Musk.
Flying Saucer FCX-01 by Roberto Hroval
In order to deal with the pollution and traffic problems associated with road travel, Roberto Hroval, the founder of PatentReal Corporation, believes that humanity must evolve beyond road travel. Traveling through the air is their solution.
The company has just released pictures of the craft that they believe will change the future of transportation. Their flying vehicle is called the FCX-01 and it is shaped like a flying saucer with its propellers hidden safely within the fuselage so that it can operate safely in urban environments.
The craft is 20 feet in diameter and 6.5 feet high, standing on its legs. Passengers enter the craft through a hatch that opens on the upper part.
The craft is completely autonomous and was invented by Roberto Hroval. It is designed to carry two people comfortably and even has a generous amount of space for carrying luggage.
The best thing about PatentReal’s design is that the engine and the motors are economical to build and safe to operate. They are based on implosion technological solutions that make the rotors run silently, stay stable while in flight at speeds of 150mph, and provide sufficient lift while using a low amount of energy.
The technology is called ”implosion technology” because of how it concentrates energy and matter in order to reduce consumption. Gas or electricity can be used to power it.
PatentReal is entering into a market where few have experienced success. Many technological ideas have been developed in the past to alleviate mankind’s reliance on road transport but they have failed to develop a practical solution. If PatentReal Corporation is able to deliver on its promise, their air transportation solution will drastically reduce the time taken for individuals to get from one place to another. They will also reduce the maintenance issues associated with travel.
Flying with PatentReal’s futuristic FCX-01 requires a small space to take off and land properly and no license to operate it. This makes it easier for PatentReal to implement a sharing/renting program.
On the other hand, air traffic controls have to be implemented in order eliminate the chances of in-air collisions. The authorities could use the same air-traffic control solutions that they use for blimps and drones, though.
“The final version of the FCX-01 is planned for release in 2024,” announced Roberto Hroval.
Hyperloop by Elon Musk
Hyperloops transport people by putting them in pods and accelerating them to high speeds. The system is dug underground and can transport commuters at speeds as high as 700mph. It is like having two giant tubes – or tunnels – underground with magnetic accelerators all along, enabling special pods to glide over them.
Elon Musk first suggested the idea and is supporting the research conducted by other companies such as WARR Hyperloop in Germany which recently set the record for the fastest ever pod ride at just under 300mph.
Hyperloop Transportation Technologies just opened a research and development unit in France. They wish to develop a Hyperloop system with pods that can seat up to 40 people and move at 700mph.
Hyperloop technology will not be implemented for many years to come but the technology is advancing at an astonishing rate. When it is ready, going from Los Angeles to San Francisco will take half an hour instead of six hours by road.
City-to-City Rockets by Elon Musk
Intercity rockets are designed to get you across the globe in minutes. The scheme was first suggested by Elon Musk. It works on the idea that you can use reusable rockets to fire passengers into the upper atmosphere and bring them back down at your city of choice, assuming that it has a launchpad ready.
With this system, you can travel anywhere on Earth within 60 minutes. If it works out the way that Musk hopes, the fare for such trips will be same as paying for an economy seat at an airport.
These rockets should also be used to take people to Mars in 2024.
